UNDP SUSTAINABILITY
The Sustainable Development Goals adopted in 2015, in other words, Global Goals, are calls for universal action to end poverty, protect our planet and ensure that all people live in peace and prosperity.
These 17 Goals are built on the achievements of the Millennium Development Goals; as well as new areas such as climate change, economic inequality, innovation, sustainable consumption, peace and justice. These goals are interrelated; the key to success in one goal is to deal with the common problems of each all together.
The Powership project is selected as a sample project in compliance with these goals. In this direction, the Ghana Powership Project was documented in 2016 and the Lebanon, Indonesia and Mozambique Projects in 2017. Karpowership is proud to be in this project, which has been published by leading media under the theme "Time For Global Action”, for two years in a row.
